Kodiak Gas Services is looking for an Overhaul Technician, Entry to ensure our compression units operate without issue. In this role, you'll inspect, repair, and replace parts as necessary, working closely with Field Supervisors and Area Managers to determine repair priorities and maintain unit health.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with Field Supervisors and Area Managers to identify units that are in need of repair or overhaul work
- Prioritize repair work when there are competing demands
- Assess repair/replacement needs and identify the best solution
- Communicate clearly with other overhaul team members to work quickly and efficiently
- Perform consistent inspections and maintenance of units to proactively ensure unit health
- Replace specific parts of the unit as needed in order to maintain efficiency
- Work across areas and regions seamlessly
- Perform any additional, miscellaneous tasks as delegated
What We're Looking For
- 0-2 years in natural gas compression or related experience
- OEM, trade school, or comparable work experience in a related field/industry
- Strong mechanical intuition or ability
- Comprehension of OEM and miscellaneous technical manuals and literature
- Strong mechanical aptitude/mechanically inclined
- Communication and customer service skills
- Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Team & Environment
You will work closely with Field Supervisors and Area Managers to coordinate repair efforts and ensure operational efficiency.
Work Mode
This position is onsite.
