About the Role

LKQ Corporation is hiring an Inside Sales Coordinator to join our Sales Call Center. This role focuses on generating revenue by promoting new and existing automotive products through proactive outreach to our current customer base, with no cold calling. You will handle inbound and outbound phone calls and emails, building relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Generate revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products.
  • Initiate sales calls to existing customers to assess inventory replenishment needs.
  • Assist customers with product and service sales, answering questions on parts, pricing, and services.
  • Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to cultivate new business.
  • Provide ongoing customer and technical service support on existing accounts.
  • Process orders via order entry, reviewing for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data.
  • Seek opportunities for upselling and price negotiation.
  • Inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and other relevant information.
  • Advise customers on part substitutions or modifications when requested parts are unavailable.
  • Support the continual improvement of our quality improvement system.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing emails with clients and internal teams.

What We're Looking For

  • High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • One to two years of prior Call Center sales, customer service, and/or route sales experience.
  • Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Attentive to detail with a commitment to work accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills and a team-player mindset.
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.
  • Ability to clearly convey product information and availability to customers.
  • Tactful customer service skills.
  • Organized, motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Ability to work in a Call Center environment where frequent interruptions may occur.
  • Comfort working under pressure.

Nice to Have

  • College coursework desired.
  • Familiarity with LKQ Corporation's products and procedures.
  • Call Center and cash handling experience.

Technical Stack

  • Computer and Microsoft Office software.
  • 10-key calculator, multi-user telephone system, copier, and fax machine.
  • Typing speed of minimum 35 wpm.

Team & Environment

You'll be working in a Sales Call Center environment, handling a mix of inbound and outbound communications.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation starts at $16/hour during paid training and the first 90 days, then transitions to hourly plus commission paid bi-weekly.
