Corewell Health is seeking a Nurse Tech to join our team. In this role, you will act as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care on a Medical Surgical GI/GU unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider.
What You'll Do
- Act as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider.
- Perform basic skills per department guidelines and communicate observations to members of the health care team.
- Collect and report physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs of patients and families in coordination with and as delineated by the RN or Provider.
- Perform responsibilities including taking vitals, checking blood sugars, bed bathing, ambulating, wound care, catheterization and acting as a safety attendant for patients.
- Ensure that required documentation is performed in an accurate and timely manner.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required within 90 days.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at Butterworth Hospital - 100 Michigan St - Grand Rapids.
