Carrier is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Specialist to represent our interests and build business relationships that enhance sales performance. You will focus on identifying prospects, developing new customer leads, and managing OEM accounts in a remote capacity.
What You'll Do
- Identify prospects and establish professional relationships to understand customer needs and suggest products/services.
- Participate in business development activities for prospects within a defined customer segment.
- Identify bid opportunities, prepare bid responses, and negotiate with potential customers.
- Develop new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
- Support the management team representative on prospective target accounts or territories.
- Develop personal long-term customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
- Attend trade shows to increase organizational visibility and influence prospects.
- Manage OEM accounts.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of Account Management Experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of Account Management Experience.
- 3+ years experience in Oil Burning Equipment.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time (may include international travel).
Nice to Have
- Oil Burner manufacturer experience (sales or technical).
