As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will lead business development efforts in the fluid process sector across a defined Michigan territory. Your focus will be on identifying new opportunities, understanding customer challenges, and delivering effective solutions that meet their operational needs.
What You'll Do
- Proactively prospect and qualify leads through cold outreach, site visits, and sales presentations
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan in collaboration with your manager to expand market presence
- Build lasting relationships with clients by aligning their requirements with appropriate products and services
- Coordinate with technical and customer support teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Use CRM tools to track activities, manage your territory, and maintain accurate sales forecasts
Requirements
- Associate degree in a technical, industrial, or business field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of sales experience, including at least one year in an industrial setting
- Proven ability to cultivate and sustain professional relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computers and standard business software
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel overnight when necessary
