Ormco Corporation is hiring a Territory Sales Manager responsible for leading business development and driving sales within an assigned territory. This remote role based in the San Diego, CA area serves as the primary relationship builder and face of Ormco to orthodontists and their teams, focusing on total value creation for account relationships.
What You'll Do
- Sell Ormco products and solutions to meet or exceed assigned quotas and goals.
- Win, expand, and retain Ormco business within each assigned account.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to build trust and relationships with orthodontists and their clinical teams.
- Use an educational approach to influence doctors and staff to purchase and utilize Ormco’s digital product portfolio.
- Create and utilize sales and educational strategies to increase customer utilization and activity.
- Meet with assigned Orthodontists and staff consistently to promote products and receive feedback.
- Learn and understand customer clinical and business practices.
- Perform complete territory analysis and planning to ensure revenue goals are achieved.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to organize customer meetings.
- Provide timely response and resolution to customer requests for product questions and quotations.
- Establish and manage customer expectations for delivery timelines.
- Serve as the main communication conduit to each customer.
- Use sales tools, collateral, and marketing materials proficiently to position suitable solutions.
- Translate technical product information and clinical value of Ormco solutions to customers.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales records via designated CRM tools.
- Interface with marketing to quantify needs and provide competitive intelligence.
- Review and report customer complaints and recommend corrective action.
- Stay aware of new products in the market.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all Ormco solutions.
- Maintain necessary reporting documents including forecasts and pipeline.
- Be responsible for all expense reporting and policy compliance.
- Understand and support company sales policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Preferred Majors: Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting.
- 5+ years of related industry experience with a successful track record in customer relationship and account management.
- Proven selling and customer relationship and territory management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage assigned accounts in terms of driving utilization and problem resolution.
- Proven effective verbal, computer, written and presentation/communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability of critical and agile thinking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM (SF.com or Dynamics).
- Overnight Travel up to 5% to training, local tradeshows and company events.
- Proven results in previous positions with top rankings year over year.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Team & Environment
This role reports to a Regional Sales Manager. Ormco builds trusted relationships rooted in respect and understanding, partners with the orthodontic community to help create smiles, and helps team members bring their personal best to work each day.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $80,000 - $140,000
- Car allowance and mileage reimbursement through Wheels.
Work Mode
This is a remote position requiring regular travel within the assigned territory of San Diego County and the Inland Empire - Palm Springs & Temecula.
