Weekday is looking for an Optimization Specialist to lead, design, and implement data-driven experimentation and personalization initiatives that enhance user experience and improve business performance. You will own the end-to-end experimentation roadmap and collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver measurable results.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end experimentation lifecycle including test hypothesis creation, design, audience segmentation, development coordination, QA, execution, and post-test analysis.
- Build and manage experimentation roadmaps in collaboration with Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Business stakeholders to prioritize tests based on impact and feasibility.
- Use Adobe Target and Optimizely to create A/B, multivariate, and personalized experience tests across web and mobile digital properties.
- Utilize Adobe Analytics and other analytical tools to gather data, build insights, analyze test performance, measure KPIs, and recommend next steps.
- Identify optimization opportunities through quantitative data analysis, UX research, customer behavior insights, funnel analysis, and heatmaps or session replay tools.
- Create clear and compelling test results reports and present insights to leadership with recommended actions to maximize conversion and business outcomes.
- Partner with design and content teams to develop test variations that align with brand standards and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with engineering and frontend development teams to troubleshoot issues, ensure test accuracy, and maintain experimentation quality standards.
- Continuously monitor performance metrics, trends, and market benchmarks to inform iterative testing strategies.
- Advocate for a culture of experimentation across the organization and mentor stakeholders on optimization methodology, best practices, and frameworks such as statistical significance and sample size estimation.
- Ensure proper governance, tagging, audience strategy, QA processes, and technical configuration in experimentation platforms.
What We're Looking For
- 8–12 years of hands-on experience in CRO, experimentation, optimization, digital analytics, or related fields.
- Proven expertise in Adobe Target, Optimizely, and Adobe Analytics with demonstrated ability to execute and analyze complex testing programs.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing funnels, UX design principles, web analytics, site performance, and personalization strategies.
- Experience with statistical concepts such as confidence levels, power analysis, segmentation, and incremental lift measurement.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively partner with engineering teams and support QA of experiment variations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate data into recommendations and business impact.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with experience presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple experiments simultaneously in a fast-paced and agile environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in large-scale consumer platforms, enterprise digital products, or eCommerce environments.
- Exposure to supporting frameworks such as Google Optimize, FullStory, Hotjar, or similar behavior analytics tools.
