Role Overview
This position plays a key part in the daily production operations within a chemical manufacturing setting. You will be responsible for running equipment, preparing chemical blends, and ensuring materials are accurately dispensed—both manually and through automated systems. Your work directly supports the facility’s output while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow documented procedures to mix and compound chemical formulations based on production requirements.
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling machinery to transport raw and finished materials.
- Uphold a safe and compliant workspace by using protective gear and supporting continuous safety improvements.
- Keep processing areas clean and organized, following Good Manufacturing Practices and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, refine workflows, and implement operational enhancements.
- Support cross-functional tasks as needed across different departments.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and the physical capability to perform essential job functions, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Experience in chemical manufacturing is required, along with hands-on familiarity with SAP, Camelot, and Marco systems. You must be able to wear respiratory protection, operate heavy machinery, and handle large containers such as 200 kg drums and 50 kg bags. Fluency in English and solid foundational skills in math, reading, and computer use are necessary for success in this role.
Work Schedule
This is an onsite role with shift options including second shift (3:30 PM – 11:50 PM) or midnight shift (11:30 PM – 7:50 AM), Monday through Friday. The schedule supports continuous production operations and requires reliable attendance.
