As a Technical Writer, you will create and maintain comprehensive documentation for a range of technology products and services. Your work will include developing user manuals, quick-start guides, safety documentation, and regulatory materials that clearly communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and revise product documentation in both print and digital formats, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance.
- Ensure all published materials meet brand, style, and regulatory standards, including proper formatting for print production such as bleed, color profiles, and file specifications.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to verify documentation meets applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support customer self-service by developing and maintaining knowledge base articles and support website content.
- Optimize written content for use in AI-powered support systems, focusing on accuracy and natural language flow.
- Track and manage document versions, ensuring up-to-date materials are available across all platforms.
- Coordinate translation and localization processes to support global audiences.
- Design diagrams, illustrations, and icons to enhance understanding in instructional materials.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and customer care teams to align documentation with product releases and customer needs.
- Identify content gaps and initiate improvements to strengthen the overall user experience.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical writing, communications, or a related field. You must have 2–5 years of experience producing documentation for technology products, with strong written communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is required, along with hands-on experience creating print-ready PDFs and managing digital content through content management and version control systems. Prior experience writing knowledge base articles or online help content is essential.
Skills in visual communication or graphic design are highly valued. Familiarity with consumer electronics or tech hardware products is an advantage.
Work Environment
This role operates on a fixed night shift from 11 PM to 8 AM PHT. You will work across time zones with global teams, requiring clear communication and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, attentive to detail, and committed to delivering user-centered content that meets high editorial and technical standards.
