Oceans is looking for an Operations Manager to guide and support a portfolio of approximately 60 client-facing professionals (Divers) embedded with global clients. You will play a pivotal role in shaping their experience, helping them thrive in their roles while aligning with company values, standards, and vision. What You'll Do
- Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins to monitor Diver satisfaction and professional well-being.
- Identify trends in attrition or disengagement and take proactive steps to intervene early.
- Address grievances with empathy and clarity, escalating when appropriate and ensuring timely resolution.
- Oversee time-off requests and ensure Divers operate with confidence, clarity, and support.
- Provide consistent performance guidance and direction to Divers, ensuring they meet client expectations.
- Partner with Training, Integration, and Client Success teams to close performance gaps and enable success.
- Drive the review process by ensuring feedback is timely, actionable, and growth-focused.
- Celebrate high performers and help build a high-accountability culture across your Pod.
- Work with the Training and HR teams to define skill development pathways and facilitate mid-career upskilling.
- Analyze training participation and impact to ensure every Diver has the tools to grow.
- Act as the voice of your Divers in internal planning conversations, ensuring their growth remains a priority.
- Collaborate with Integration Success and Client Success to deliver seamless onboarding and transitions.
- In certain accounts, work with Sales teams to align Diver management with expansion opportunities.
- Provide insights to stakeholders about Diver sentiment, retention, and performance risks.
What We're Looking For
- Professional fluency in English, with strong communication and interpersonal ability.
- Experience managing a team (ideally 10+ direct reports) with a focus on accountability, growth, and retention.
- Understanding of business operations and client priorities, and how talent success contributes to company success.
- Ability to mentor and support individuals through performance and career transitions.
- Calm and thoughtful approach to issue resolution—balancing empathy with business needs.
- Confidence using tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Asana to manage tasks, people, and reporting.

- Prior experience supporting or managing international teams is a strong asset.

You will be the direct manager of approximately 60 Divers and report to the Head of Diver Success. The role works cross-functionally with Training, HR, Integration Success, and Client Success teams, and coordinates with Sales when account expansion opportunities arise.
