Tecnológico de Monterrey is looking for an Online Program Tutor to ensure the student teaching-learning process across various courses, aligned with the university's Vision and Educational Model for digital education. In this role, you will guide, provide feedback, advise, and motivate students throughout their learning journey.
What You'll Do
- Provide feedback to students in assigned courses to achieve an annual average teaching performance evaluation score of 9.0 or higher.
- Complete the design and/or redesign of courses on time, incorporating constant innovations, preparing 100% of activities and teaching reviews before classes start.
- Propose improvements to course activities and other elements.
- Identify low-performing students or those without course access to support them, reporting them promptly to their respective academic counselor.
- Provide support for procedures with academic, administrative, or support bodies when required.
- Participate in at least 1 departmental and/or institutional project.
- Manage the course platform and follow up with the teaching team, ensuring timely review of activities, prompt delivery of information, and compliance with established processes.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Systems, or a related field.
- Knowledge and proficiency with technological tools: Python, programming languages, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and technological tools supporting education.
- Written communication skills: grammar, spelling, composition.
- Mastery of the subject matter in assigned courses.
- Knowledge of Academic Policies and Regulations (General Academic Policies and Norms, General Student Regulations, General Guidelines for Performance Management).
- Knowledge of teaching-learning theories, methods, and techniques.
- Knowledge of institutional information systems (CANVAS, Elumen, digital library).
- Minimum 600 TOEFL points. Must be evidenced with a TOEFL certificate taken at least one year prior.
