Online Education Services (OES) is looking for an Online Learning Advisor to facilitate student learning within the Bachelor of Information & Communication Technology program. As a subject matter expert, you will play a key role in helping students achieve their goals in a fully remote, online environment.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate learning activities that engage and retain students.
- Mark assessments and provide meaningful, constructive feedback.
- Support communication through discussion boards, emails, and live sessions, ensuring visibility to students every 24-48 hours.
- Collaborate with academic teams to maintain unit quality.
- Uphold OES values to foster a positive team culture and student experience.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum AQF Level 8 in a relevant ICT discipline (e.g., Bachelor (Honours), Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Master’s or PhD).
- Recent discipline experience in at least one teaching area (e.g., Software Dev/Web & Mobile; Networks & Cyber; Cloud/DevOps; Data/AI/Analytics; IS/BA; HCI/UX).
- Empathetic, organised, proactive, tech-confident, and student-focused.
- Flexibility to work sessional part-time: 8 hours per week (hours may increase).
- Located in Australia.
