SteadyMD is hiring a Nurse Practitioner to deliver virtual patient care with a focus on weight loss medicine. In this fully remote role, you’ll conduct primarily video visits, providing holistic evaluations and evidence-based treatment.
What You'll Do
- Conduct initial intake evaluation video visits with new patients (ages 18+).
- Holistically evaluate patients, review labs, and prescribe weight loss medications when appropriate, primarily GLP-1 agonists.
- Work with a diverse patient population, emphasizing inclusivity.
- Regularly check and respond to patient inquiries via the patient portal and asynchronous chat.
- Manage prescription refills and chronic condition management.
What We're Looking For
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in at least 3 of the following states: CT, NY, GA, DE, CA, FL, NJ, MA, PA, MD, SC, NC, RI, TX with residency in the licensed state.
- Board Certified (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) by the ANCC or AANP.
- Must be comfortable prescribing compound medication.
Nice to Have
- 2 years of independent practice experience as an NP.
- 1-year experience in weight loss medicine, including prescribing GLP1 agonists.
- Background in Internal or Family Medicine.
- Comfortable with complex chronic condition management.
- Telemedicine or virtual care experience.
