qiibee is looking for a Node.js Contractor to take full ownership of backend systems and deliver high-performance, production-ready services from architecture to deployment. The role requires operating effectively within a fast-paced startup environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain Node.js (Express) services and AWS Lambda functions
- Design and implement scalable REST APIs
- Write efficient, clean, and well-tested code for high-throughput systems
- Integrate with PostgreSQL databases and optimize queries
- Manage deployment, monitoring, and reliability of backend services
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- At least 2 years of experience in Node.js
- Strong experience with Express and AWS Lambda
- Proven ability to build high-performance systems
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL
- Good understanding of async programming, queues, and API design
- Ability to take ownership and deliver end-to-end
Nice to Have
- Experience in the FinTech industry
- Experience with Elixir (Phoenix, Ecto, OTP)
