What Makes This Role Different
This is a build-and-lead role: prove you can sell consultatively, then step into leadership to raise the bar for others, with real support from operators who've scaled teams before.
Fast path to leadership: typical transition in 6–12 weeks, and no later than 6 months
Shape the function: codify the playbook, daily rituals, hiring/onboarding standards
Category-defining scale: help lay the groundwork for a national brand in an overlooked space
Impact with heart: guide future-planning decisions that genuinely help families
How You'll Contribute
Start as a seller, then take on formal team leadership.
Phase 1 - Seller (player)
Run structured, high-trust inbound phone consults; uncover motivations and guide decisions (no cold calling)
Own your pipeline rigorously (follow-ups, nurtures) and hit quota consistently
Capture what works (objections, talk tracks) and share to improve the playbook
Phase 2 - Team Lead (coach, ramping 30-70%)
Lead an initial pod of ~2–3 reps; run daily ops, 1:1s, call reviews, and weekly rhythms
Hire/onboard new reps; elevate performance via feedback, shadowing, and live support
Monitor activity, conversion, and pipeline health; be first escalation on complex cases
Identify gaps in process and help scale what works as the team grows
You're a Great Fit If You…
Have 4+ years of experience in consumer sales
Win in consultative B2C sales: sold to consumers in personal/high-stakes contexts with a quota-beating track record
Can lead and coach: you've helped teammates/peers perform better (work, sports, clubs) and want formal responsibility for it
Bring drive and persistence: you follow through, rebound fast, and energize others
Act with agency: you own outcomes and improve systems in fast-moving ambiguity
Resonate with the mission: high-performance with high-heart feels natural to you
Fluency in Spanish is a plus, since many of the families we serve are Spanish-speaking.
