Lead engineering and project execution for industrial electrical power systems, ensuring projects meet technical, budgetary, and scheduling requirements. This role is responsible for guiding multidisciplinary engineering efforts to deliver efficient, compliant solutions from concept through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct engineering teams and coordinate technical disciplines to optimize project outcomes
- Oversee development of electrical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and specifications
- Manage project performance against time, cost, and quality benchmarks
- Conduct technical reviews, design checks, and Factory Acceptance Testing for critical components
- Drive change management processes and ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to align on progress and resolve issues
- Support professional growth of engineers through mentoring, training, and skill development
- Review technical proposals and ensure alignment with product capabilities and standards
- Maintain compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of ten years in electrical engineering design
- At least five years leading engineering teams or extensive expertise with protection and control panel components (e.g., SEL relays, Electroswitch, test switches)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background screenings
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds and working for extended periods standing or sitting
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
