U-Haul is seeking a Director of Sales for Agbeyewa Farms to lead national and international sales efforts for our agricultural products. This role demands a visionary leader to drive aggressive revenue growth, expand market share, and lead a high-performing sales organization, committed to socio-economic development through agricultural investment.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute a comprehensive sales strategy across channels like B2B wholesale, retail, export, and direct-to-consumer.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities locally in Nigeria and across West Africa.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations to establish optimal pricing models based on market dynamics and costs.
- Develop accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts for production and financial planning.
- Mentor, coach, and manage a high-caliber sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Set clear, measurable KPIs and manage team performance against targets.
- Foster a strong, accountable, and customer-centric sales culture.
- Serve as the executive point of contact for critical clients like major industrial processors and retail chains.
- Cultivate strong, long-term customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to influence production decisions.
- Work with Logistics and Operations to ensure seamless delivery and order fulfillment for perishable goods.
- Implement and manage a robust Sales CRM system to track leads, pipeline, and performance metrics.
- Ensure sales activities and export documentation comply with all local and international regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive sales experience.
- At least 5 years in a Senior Leadership or Director-level role managing large teams and significant revenue targets.
- A proven track record in the FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Large-Scale Agribusiness sectors.
- Strong understanding of Profit & Loss management, budgeting, financial forecasting, and managing COGS.
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills.
- Superior negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- An MBA or relevant master’s degree.
