This role focuses on building trusted relationships with healthcare providers across the San Bernardino, CA territory, including Riverside, March Air Reserve Base, and Moreno Valley. Using a mix of in-person visits and digital platforms, the Neuroscience Specialist delivers clear, science-based information about approved neuroscience treatments and their clinical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage physicians and care teams through virtual and in-person interactions to discuss treatment options and patient care strategies
- Connect providers with appropriate internal resources, such as Customer Service Specialists, when additional support is needed
- Host educational speaker events and lead discussions among local provider groups to share clinical insights and real-world outcomes
- Collect and share local market feedback with leadership to shape regional strategy and planning
- Adjust outreach plans based on insights from the field and in coordination with cross-functional teams
- Communicate complex clinical data clearly and accurately, ensuring all discussions remain within regulatory and compliance guidelines
- Support access to medications by providing up-to-date information on on-label use and patient care pathways
Qualifications
Candidates must have at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, with a minimum of four years in direct sales to healthcare professionals. Prior work in neuroscience, psychiatry, or ADHD is preferred, as is experience launching new products or indications. A strong understanding of regulatory standards and ethical business practices is essential.
Applicants must live within 50 miles of the primary territory and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record. Some overnight travel may be required. The role uses digital communication tools, sales tracking systems, and approved promotional content to support outreach.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a base salary range of $107,362 to $166,750, plus performance-based incentives.
