As a Pharmaceutical Field Sales Representative, you will play a key role in advancing awareness of COVID-19 risk factors, disease progression, and available treatment pathways among healthcare providers. Working under a contracted field team supporting Pfizer, you will engage directly with physicians, urgent care centers, and retail pharmacies to support timely identification of high-risk patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate, science-based information to healthcare professionals about patient eligibility, treatment options, and drug interactions
- Conduct regular, strategic outreach to build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders
- Customize each interaction using pre-call planning and targeted questioning to address specific customer needs
- Analyze customer data and prior engagements to refine territory strategy and improve outreach effectiveness
- Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and coordinate multi-channel efforts
- Stay current on disease state knowledge, market trends, and policy updates relevant to patient care
- Use approved materials to communicate product information and direct providers to available support resources
- Accurately document field activities, inventory, and customer interactions in accordance with established procedures
- Participate in required training, compliance education, and team meetings, both local and remote
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree and have at least two years of professional experience in fields such as pharmaceutical or medical device sales, healthcare practice (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, therapy), education, military service, or customer-facing business roles. Prior experience in urgent care environments is essential.
Applicants must reside within 25 miles of their assigned territory, possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record, and be prepared to travel locally as needed. Commitment to ongoing learning and certification is expected outside of regular field hours.
Work Environment
This is a field-based position requiring consistent presence in the local market. Travel within the assigned geography is a regular component of the role.
