Role Overview
As a Neuroscience LTC Specialist, you will serve as the main liaison for long-term care facilities and healthcare providers across designated regions in North Carolina. Your focus will be on fostering meaningful, compliant relationships with key stakeholders, including facility administrators, nursing directors, and pharmacy managers. You will deliver accurate, on-label product information and support healthcare teams in understanding patient access, reimbursement pathways, and clinical best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the long-term care landscape, including regulatory frameworks, operational workflows, and patient care standards, to position solutions that meet facility needs
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships within LTC organizations through in-person visits, virtual meetings, and digital outreach
- Deliver tailored, compliant messaging that aligns with each facility’s clinical and operational goals
- Provide clear, science-based information consistent with approved labeling and company guidelines
- Support providers in navigating access considerations such as formulary status, prior authorization, and financial assistance options
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs and Market Access, to ensure coordinated support for healthcare providers
- Organize and manage speaker programs and local educational forums to share clinical insights
- Collect and report local market intelligence to inform regional strategy and business planning
- Utilize digital tools—including webinars, virtual platforms, and online content—to maintain consistent, personalized engagement
Qualifications
Candidates must have at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales and a minimum of four years in direct sales to healthcare providers. Residency within 50 miles of the primary territory city is required. Proven success in relationship-building within LTC settings, strong communication skills, and a commitment to compliance and ethical practices are essential.
Work Environment
This role blends in-person field work, virtual interactions, and digital communication. You will report to a regional Area Business Lead and operate within a structured compliance framework while collaborating with local teams.
