Position Summary: You'll be the revenue reconciliation expert, navigating the complex world of medical claims across various insurance landscapes (HMO, PPO, Medicare, and more). Your goal: maximize cash collection and minimize bad debt. Core Responsibilities: • Increase cash flow and reduce bad debt • Understand NeoGenomics' product lineup and craft compelling medical necessity arguments • Manage appeals and denials according to payer guidelines • Expertly read and interpret EOBs and advice/remark codes • Handle patient billing inquiries with professionalism and precision • Verify insurance eligibility and maintain accurate patient demographics • Investigate service denials and determine strategic next steps • Perform data entry and account management Requirements: • High School Diploma (minimum) • 2+ years experience in A/R, Billing, insurance, or healthcare • Strong knowledge of coding systems: CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical billing software • Ability to navigate LCD/NCD and Payer Medical Policies We're committed to creating an inclusive workplace where every talented individual can thrive, regardless of race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status.
