Smucker Foodservice, Inc. is hiring a National Account Manager to lead our Sweet Baked Snacks business with Target and Meijer. You will own the strategic relationship, driving sales and profit targets while managing comprehensive business planning and execution.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the sales lead for the Sweet Baked Snacks strategic business unit, driving profitable sales growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer partners at Target and Meijer.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive brand and category growth, achieving sales and profit goals.
- Own and lead negotiations for joint business planning, new items, and key initiatives.
- Influence customer decisions through fact-based presentations.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to drive operational solutions and efficiencies.
- Leverage Omni Marketing capabilities to build brand equity and deliver on KPIs.
- Manage day-to-day business execution, including customer forms, item setup, online content, logistics, and inventory.
- Own annual business planning activities and perform in-depth analysis of sales and profit components.
- Utilize point-of-sale data to inform strategic and tactical plans.
- Manage internal sales systems for promotions, deductions, and forecasting.
- Effectively manage the trade budget and visibility.
- Forecast monthly and quarterly sales for production planning.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial and pre/post-event analysis.
- Drive business process improvements by collaborating with cross-functional partners.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) sales or account management experience.
- Previous experience calling on National Account or Regional Account headquarters.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical skills in office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in syndicated data sources (IRI/Nielsen).
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the work schedule.
