About the Role

Proofpoint is hiring a Named Account Manager, Kenya to accelerate our growth across Africa. This is a proactive, strategic, and results-driven role where you will own and grow a portfolio of named enterprise accounts, combining new business acquisition as a primary focus with the expansion of existing relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships within enterprise accounts of 2,500+ end users across multiple verticals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders like System Engineers and Channel Partners to develop and execute account strategies.
  • Drive new business acquisition while expanding relationships with existing customers by introducing our full suite of security, compliance, and information protection solutions.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations in partnership with technical teams.
  • Analyze and report on pipeline progression, forecast accuracy, and account performance.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, ensuring operational excellence and timely execution.
  • Maintain compliance with Proofpoint’s sales methodology and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success in enterprise technology sales, ideally with SaaS and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Track record of exceeding quotas, winning new logos, and leveraging channel partnerships.
  • Strong executive selling skills (CISO, CIO, CMO) and ability to influence complex buying cycles.
  • Experience closing deals in the $100K–$1M range.
  • Familiarity with formal sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, TAS, or Command of the Message.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity market trends and the competitive landscape.

You will report to the Country Leader and work closely with System Engineers, Channel Partners, and other internal stakeholders.
