Salesforce is hiring a Named Account Executive, State Government to build and nurture strong relationships with state agencies. You will understand their specific requirements, demonstrate the value of Salesforce products, and help them achieve their mission-critical objectives.
What You'll Do
- Cultivate and maintain enduring relationships with State Government clients.
- Use data analysis to identify improvement areas and make data-driven recommendations.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as client retention and revenue growth.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by consistently exceeding expectations.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to devise solutions for complex challenges.
- Address and resolve client issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Keep clients informed about new product features and updates relevant to their needs.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts to expand Salesforce services.
- Collaborate with clients to formulate customized account strategies.
- Educate clients on how Salesforce can streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends, government regulations, and competitive offerings.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Salesforce products and solutions.
- Conduct regular check-ins to assess client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client inquiries are addressed promptly.
- Provide regular progress updates to management regarding client accounts.
What We're Looking For
- 7-10+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience, focused on selling to State and Local Government agencies.
- Ability to work well within a team of various partners in a matrixed environment.
- A highly driven individual with a focus on execution, strong sense of urgency, and belief in our mission.
- A mix of business curiosity and technical ability to address customer data challenges and earn trust.
- Solution selling mentality: develop a plan and solution, articulate value, and navigate customer complexities to drive revenue.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
Team & Environment
You will work in a matrixed environment, collaborating closely with client directors, solution engineers, executives, and other partners.
