Illumina, Inc. is hiring a Multiomics Sales Specialist to lead the adoption of next-generation sequencing (NGS) solutions across Central Europe. In this role, you will drive our integrated multiomics portfolio, serving as a strategic partner to academic and clinical institutions, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology companies. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver solutions that power advanced research and analysis.
What You'll Do
- Own and deliver the multiomics sales budget for Central Europe.
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the multiomics segment in your territory.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through applications, assay design, and data interpretation.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and lead consultative discussions to showcase Illumina’s multiomics solutions.
- Train and support the sales team to strengthen their understanding of Illumina’s multiomics value proposition.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and service teams to align customer needs with company objectives.
- Expand and nurture a network of service providers dedicated to multiomics products.
- Stay informed about emerging trends to shape effective sales strategies.
- Represent Illumina at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Proven ability to identify customer needs, articulate value propositions, and lead successful sales engagements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region (approx. 60%).
- A valid driving licence is essential for this role.
- Fluency in business English required.
Nice to Have
- Expertise in at least two omics disciplines - such as transcriptomics (single-cell or spatial), epigenetics, or proteomics.
- A PhD in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Chemistry, or Biochemistry is highly desirable, though an MSc with relevant laboratory experience will also be considered.
- Additional Eastern European languages (e.g., Polish, Czech) are an advantage.
