About the Role

Brex is looking for a Mid-Market Client Sales Executive II to drive revenue growth by engaging our current customer base and cultivating new business. You will balance relationship building with strategic sales to recapture and increase card spend, while collaborating across teams to enhance the client experience. What You'll Do

  • Spearhead initiatives to increase spending levels on the Brex Card among our current client base to propel net-new revenue growth.
  • Proactively identify and cultivate expansion opportunities through targeted outreach.
  • Cross-sell our Spend Management software suite, including Expense Management, Billpay, and Travel solutions.
  • Engage regularly with CFOs and finance leaders as a trusted advisor, providing expert consultation to optimize their financial operations.
  • Formulate and execute strategic plans to improve the overall client experience, including product features and implementation processes.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Sales roles within B2B SaaS or Payments companies.
  • 1+ years of closing experience, preferably in a net-new logo acquisition environment.
  • 1+ years of outbound prospecting experience.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze customer behavior.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-velocity environments.
  • Coachability with an interest in growing your career in sales.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with financial products, credit cards, business finance, credit card management, and software solutions like Expense Management, Travel, and Billpay.
  • Previous experience implementing successful upselling and cross-selling strategies.
  • Awareness of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Background in handling renewals, ensuring customer retention, and minimizing churn.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Gong, Salesforce, or Outreach.
  • Series 7 license.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: USD $132,000 - $166,000 OTE (base salary + commissions).

Work Mode

This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, California, United States; New York City; or Salt Lake City.
