The Mid Market Account Executive will drive full-cycle software sales within the private sector, focusing on demand generation, partnerships, and closing deals. At Flock Safety, you'll play a critical role in expanding our innovative safety technology by building strong customer relationships and collaborating across teams to deliver impactful solutions.
What You'll Do
- Own demand generation, partnerships, and full-cycle software sales
- Manage the full funnel sales process including inbound and outbound prospecting
- Identify customer needs
- Conduct platform demos
- Build tailored solutions
- Create and deliver proposals
- Close deals
- Work closely with peers in other sales roles and post-sales teams
- Learn the market and understand existing customers in the first 30 days
- Meet peers and develop expertise in key verticals
- Create pipeline in the first 30 days
- Drive pipeline through law enforcement (LE), law enforcement agencies (LEA), and customer success (CS) in the first 60 days
- Refine sales motion as comfort increases
- Show progress in key vertical by 60 days
- Establish areas of most success by 90 days
- Prioritize time and get deeply engaged with key accounts beyond 90 days
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years experience in a closing role
- Experience managing the full funnel sales process including inbound and outbound prospecting, identifying needs, platform demo, solution building, proposal and closing
- Consistent performance in bookings and pipeline creation
- Experience working closely with other teams (e.g., peers in other sales roles or post-sales)
Nice to Have
- Preferably in SaaS
- Prior experience as an SDR/BDR, or experience with sourcing opportunities
