Simply TV is hiring a Metadata Ingest Intern (Paid internship) to help ensure TV, movie, and series data flows smoothly, accurately, and efficiently from multiple sources into our systems. You'll join a team redefining how the world experiences TV metadata, empowering broadcasters and streaming platforms to deliver smarter content discovery.

What You'll Do

Implement and update hardcoding rules for parsers.
Fix issues with existing parsers and optimize them for new content sources.
Set up new parsers as needed for incoming data streams.
Investigate and resolve internal data complaints.
Monitor data health and ensure datasets are accurate, complete, and consistent.
Check schedules for failures and report issues.
Collaborate with the development team to resolve scheduling problems.
Optimize how schedules are set up to ensure smooth operations.
Respond to customer support cases within SLA times.
Ensure internal stakeholders receive timely support and issue resolution.

What We're Looking For

Currently enrolled in a degree program, with graduation planned no earlier than one year from now.
Currently studying or have recently graduated in a relevant field (Data, IT, Computer Science, or related).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, structured, and highly organized.
Comfortable working with data, databases, systems, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Great collaborative skills.
Passionate about our product and what great metadata can do.
Strong willingness to get your hands dirty and a strong drive to succeed.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same.
