Humana Inc. is looking for a Medicare Sales Field Agent to serve the local community in Birmingham, AL. You will build trust and educate individuals on our Medicare Advantage plans and other offerings through direct, face-to-face interactions. This role is the heart of our local presence, relying on grassroots marketing and in-home visits to provide a personalized experience.
What You'll Do
- Build trust and educate individuals on Humana’s Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
- Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits to provide a personalized experience.
- Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana’s presence in the market by becoming a valued resource in your community.
- Engage with customers through a mix of in-person, virtual, and phone interactions, with face-to-face visits in prospective members' homes being a key part of the role.
What We're Looking For
- Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain.
- Must reside in the designated local territory (Birmingham, AL) to effectively serve the community.
- Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members’ homes and engaging with the community through service, organizations, volunteer work, or local events.
- Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
Nice to Have
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License.
- Prior experience selling Medicare products.
- Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages.

Team & Environment
You will be part of a collaborative team of 8–12 Medicare Sales Agents, working under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director.

- Compensation range of $80,000 - $125,000 per year.
