CSL was looking for a Medical Representative - Romania, Bucharest

Role Overview

This position is responsible for advancing the visibility and understanding of our pharmaceutical portfolio within key medical communities across Bucharest, Dâmbovița, and Călărași. As a field-based professional, you will work directly with healthcare providers in hospitals and retail settings, delivering accurate product information and supporting clinical discussions through ethical, compliance-driven practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct meetings with physicians, pharmacists, and hospital teams to share scientific and therapeutic insights
  • Deliver clear, compliant presentations tailored to diverse medical audiences
  • Coordinate educational events and medical conferences to support knowledge exchange
  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships with key healthcare stakeholders
  • Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and outreach goals
  • Ensure comprehensive coverage of target specialties within the assigned territory
  • Accurately document and report adverse events related to pharmaceutical products
  • Maintain timely submission of activity reports and management requests
  • Uphold company policies, including data security, ethical conduct, and professional standards

Qualifications

Candidates should bring at least two years of experience in hospital-facing roles and 2–3 years as a medical representative. A background in cardiology, nephrology, anesthesiology, gastroenterology, or surgery is essential. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, along with fluency in English and a valid driver’s license.

A degree in Medicine or Pharmacy is advantageous. Additional training in communication, negotiation, or sales techniques will support success in this role.

Work Environment

This is a field-based position requiring regular travel across the designated districts. Success depends on strong organizational skills, independent initiative, and consistent in-person engagement with medical teams.
