Abbott is looking for a Medical Representative to drive pharmaceutical product promotion within a fixed territory in China. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, delivering product knowledge, and executing territory plans to meet sales objectives.
What You'll Do
- Conduct daily client visits, ensuring at least 4.5 days per week with a minimum of 12 effective face-to-face visits per day.
- Perform VIP visits at least once per month to key hospital stakeholders to secure support.
- Organize at least one product presentation meeting per week to enhance doctors' understanding.
- Plan monthly and track weekly progress against company-assigned sales targets for your fixed territory.
- Manage hospital coverage and regularly update customer department information to expand business.
- Manage finances by submitting pre-approval requests for market activities and submitting expenses within 3 weeks.
- Develop monthly product development plans, especially for new products, based on marketing strategies.
- Deliver product knowledge presentations in weekly meetings and undergo regular exams that impact performance evaluation.
- Apply learned business skills effectively in the field to improve visit efficiency.
- Ensure 8 hours of effective daily field work and maintain phone availability from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- 1+ year of pharmaceutical product promotion experience.
- Basic English listening, speaking, reading, and writing ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and web browsers.
- Willingness to undertake business travel as required.
- Possession of an RDPAC certificate.
