Role Overview
The Expert Detailing Representative will connect with healthcare professionals in Senegal and Ivory Coast, delivering scientifically grounded information about consumer healthcare products. You will play a key role in advancing brand visibility and clinical understanding through tailored interactions and support of digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality scientific discussions to healthcare providers using clinical data and evidence-based messaging
- Engage professionals through in-person visits, virtual meetings, email outreach, and online webinars
- Support adoption of digital platforms and tools by healthcare stakeholders
- Promote participation in continuing medical education programs
- Strengthen product recognition and drive recommendation behaviors across your assigned territory
- Build and maintain professional relationships with key medical decision-makers
- Distribute medical samples in accordance with local regulations and guidelines
- Monitor, report, and meet key performance indicators for your region
- Collect and share insights on market dynamics, competitor activity, and prescribing trends
- Plan and assist in organizing educational events and clinical discussions
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and company standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc or equivalent) in a scientific or healthcare-related discipline
- Fluent in English, with strong working proficiency in French required for provider interactions
- 3 to 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical detailing, or a related healthcare field
- Proven ability in communication, presentation, data analysis, and time management
- Experience with CRM systems and digital tools, particularly Veeva
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within assigned regions
- Eligible to work legally in Senegal and Ivory Coast
