Waveguide LLC, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Marketing Director for its Military portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership, oversight, and execution of the comprehensive Marketing and Communications program. You will serve as the strategic and operational lead, translating enterprise strategy into disciplined execution at the installation level while serving those who serve our country.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the execution of the Military Marketing & Communications program across all assigned installations.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Serve as the brand owner and steward, ensuring consistent standards across all locations.
- Translate enterprise vision into actionable marketing roadmaps and installation-level execution plans.
- Own all brand assets, programming frameworks, and communications materials.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce brand identity standards.
- Oversee creation of campaign toolkits, collateral, sales presentations, and activation resources.
- Ensure seamless rollout of marketing initiatives at branch and installation levels.
- Train and coach unit leadership on brand standards and campaign execution.
- Lead and manage the social media strategy, including content calendars and engagement analytics.
- Establish KPIs and measurable goals for the Military Marketing program.
- Analyze performance data and implement improvement initiatives to ensure marketing contributes to revenue.
- Prepare and manage the Military marketing budget.
- Build strong relationships with installation leadership, operations teams, and stakeholders.
- Lead ideation and development of new marketing initiatives to drive scalability and innovation.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3-4 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- At least 3-4 years of progressive marketing leadership experience in multi-unit environments.
- Proven track record of driving measurable revenue growth and engagement.
- Experience implementing marketing programs at the installation or regional level.
- Strong understanding of brand governance, social media strategy, and analytics.
- Ability to travel 70% regularly between installations.
- Strong leadership and executive presence.
- Strategic thinker with operational discipline.
- Skilled in data analysis and performance measurement.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Creative mindset paired with executional accountability.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Team & Environment
This role reports directly to the VP of Wellbeing & Marketing.
