As Associate Director, Paid Media, you will lead a client pod in a remote-first setting, shaping the strategic direction of marketing engagements and ensuring executional excellence across channels. Your leadership directly influences client retention, team development, and the company’s financial outcomes through disciplined goal setting, performance tracking, and problem-solving.
What You'll Do
- Define and manage performance goals for all client engagements within your pod
- Enforce cross-channel best practices and ensure consistent implementation of core methodologies including LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Functional Content
- Guide strategists in navigating campaign approval challenges, integrating roadblock discussions into regular 1:1s, and creating action plans for resolution
- Build operational structure with clear communication rhythms, proactive support, and expectation clarity to empower your team
- Drive measurable outcomes including 100% NSM attainment, CSAT scores of 4.2 or higher, and $150,000 in bookings per half-year across your pod
- Stay ahead of marketing innovation by exploring how AI and automation can improve campaign performance and internal workflows
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in B2B tech or SaaS marketing environments
- Proven ability to lead through influence, set expectations, and drive accountability without formal management authority
- Strong strategic thinker with a track record in goal setting, performance analysis, and problem-solving
- Skilled in navigating campaign approval processes and removing operational barriers
