Puig is hiring a Marketing Director to define and drive the overall marketing strategy for its Oceania region. You will manage a diversified portfolio of prestige fragrance and fashion brands, overseeing a large budget across all paid, earned, and owned channels. This role reports to the General Manager, Puig Oceania, and is a key member of the Oceania Leadership Team based in Sydney.
What You'll Do
- Define and deliver the Oceania marketing strategy by brand, including retail and net sales, net operating profit, value market share, and rank targets.
- With the Managing Director and leadership team, identify growth opportunities and develop strategic initiatives to engage key consumer target groups.
- Oversee the alignment and integration of the brands’ marketing calendar and consumer engagement activities across all media and touchpoints.
- Define and execute distinct and innovative marketing calendars and plans across the Puig portfolio with an omnichannel approach.
- Develop robust retail marketing strategies with each key retailer to support the consumer experience at physical and digital touchpoints.
- Provide market share objectives and retail sales ambitions, determine pricing strategy, and drive accurate catalogue, promotional stock, and forecasting.
- In collaboration with the Customer Engagement Manager, develop a full-funnel 360 paid, earned, and owned media strategy, driving innovation and new partnerships.
- Lead the brand social media and influencer strategy.
- Drive performance-based marketing, developing capabilities and implementing a test & learn mindset.
- Define CRM strategy and customer lifecycle programs.
- Drive the consumer insight strategy by delivering actionable insight from ad hoc research and panel data.
- Drive innovation in education, digitalizing the experience for internal and external audiences.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Training Manager to drive clientelling and customer analytics to improve productivity and retention.
- Promote virtual selling and services and activation of key retail moments.
- Deliver all temporary and permanent visual merchandising and store design requirements for the brands.
- Drive innovation with smart technology and virtual try-on tools.
- Ensure Retail Excellence KPIs are set and monitored for full compliance.
- Develop, coach, mentor, and motivate direct report(s).
- Lead by example to develop a high-performing marketing team.

Team & Environment
This is a leadership role. You will lead a team of 14, be a member of the Leadership Team of Puig Oceania, and report directly to the General Manager, Puig Oceania.
