8Fleet Inc. is hiring a Market Manager to own and drive operations in San Francisco. You will be responsible for end-to-end fleet management, strategic planning, and business development, applying a founder's mindset to tackle key priorities and fuel growth.

What You'll Do

Own all financial and operational metrics to optimize revenue and profit.
Oversee day-to-day fleet operations, including driver scheduling, dispatch, and performance monitoring.
Manage vehicle maintenance and repair programs to ensure fleet safety and utilization.
Partner with the Growth team to recruit, onboard, and retain a high-performing driver base.
Analyze fleet performance data to identify opportunities for profitability and efficiency gains.
Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize fleet profitability.
Monitor KPIs and track progress toward business goals.
Provide ongoing support and training to drivers on best practices, safety, and customer service.
Foster a positive and supportive environment for all employees.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
Conduct regular safety audits and implement necessary corrective actions.

What We're Looking For

2+ years in operations management, business consulting, or a related role managing operations, building teams, optimizing processes, and delivering goals.
2+ years of people management experience, high EQ, and a proven ability to deliver results through others.
Goal focus with a strong bias toward action.
Data-driven mindset, strong business judgment, and proven ability to analyze data, draw insights, and execute strategy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships, manage a team, and influence stakeholders.
Excellent organization and time management.
Willingness to get your hands dirty, lead by example, and motivate teams both in-person and remotely.
BA/BS degree with an impressive academic record.
Available full-time, on-site in San Francisco (in-office 5 days a week).

Nice to Have

Entrepreneurial hustle and a self-starter with an owner's mentality; some entrepreneurial experience is preferred.
MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus.
Experience with ridesharing platforms (Uber, Lyft) is a strong plus.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary range: $105k-$125k + equity: a strong stock option award.

Work Mode

This role is on-site in San Francisco.
