  • Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, port authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, hydraulic, environmental, and coastal process engineers in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and CDM Regulations.
  • Provide technical support during construction, review contractor submissions, and respond to site queries.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • MEng or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • A strong civil/structural design background.
  • Sound understanding of structural behaviour, materials (concrete, steel, sheet piles), and marine loading conditions.
  • Familiarity with relevant British Standards, Eurocodes, and maritime guidance documents.
  • Eligibility and ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC level).

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience in marine or coastal infrastructure.

Team & Environment

You will join an established Ports and Maritime team with over 100 years of combined experience, part of the Transportation Business Line within AECOM's DCS Business Group.
