Abramson Labor Group seeks a Managing Attorney (Workers' Compensation) to lead our dedicated practice. In this role, you will provide strategic direction, mentorship, and high-level legal expertise, focusing on winning cases and exceptional client service in a supportive, metric-free environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead the Workers' Compensation department, ensuring strong case strategies and client service.
- Provide guidance on complex legal matters, case evaluations, and settlement negotiations.
- Mentor and develop attorneys to maintain consistent, high-quality representation.
- Step in for trials, hearings, and negotiations as needed.
- Conduct client educational webinars and address escalated client matters.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented culture.
What We're Looking For
- JD and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- 8–12 years of Workers’ Compensation experience.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
Nice to Have
- Applicant & Defense mix of Workers' Compensation experience.
