About the Role

Vanta is hiring a Manager, Sales Development - APJ to lead and support a team of Sales Development Representatives focused on VMB, SMB, and Enterprise segments for the APJ business. This role is pivotal in shaping the sales organization during a period of rapid growth, moving up market, and establishing Vanta as best-in-class in security automation.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and mentor a growing team of high performing Sales Development Representatives, providing them the tools, coaching, and support needed to deliver results.
  • Evolve Vanta’s prospecting playbook by developing and implementing new prospecting initiatives and strategies to increase deal sizes and drive revenue.
  • Grow the Sales Development team through active involvement in recruitment, on-boarding and training of new Sales Development Representatives.
  • Create and establish strategic prospecting training, conduct weekly forecasting meetings, and mentor direct reports on pipeline creation strategies.
  • Help to continually foster an inclusive Sales organization representing Vanta’s culture and values.
  • Ensure development plans are in place, adapted to each individual, to ensure ongoing talent development.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to drive better outcomes for Vanta’s prospects that have headquarters within APJ.
  • Partner with sales leadership on creating an agile organization that uses decision frameworks to inform strategic direction.

What We're Looking For

  • Located in Sydney, Australia with the ability to commute to the office in a hybrid setting.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience.
  • At least 2+ years of management/leadership experience.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS sales and sales management.
  • Experience prospecting into various market segments and personas.
  • Stellar problem-solving abilities and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Technical competency to understand Vanta’s software and the intellectual curiosity to learn about governance, risk and compliance.
