The Co-operators is looking for a Senior Manager, Term Insurance Pricing to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development, pricing, and product support for a portfolio of Individual Insurance products. Your work will directly influence our financial standing and involve close collaboration with our distribution channels.

What You'll Do

Manage team performance through the Elevate program, including planning, assessment, and review.
Provide strategic input and develop unit plans to support broader organizational goals.
Establish and ensure adherence to appropriate policies, procedures, and standards.
Resolve escalated issues, make informed decisions, and provide guidance to others.
Develop key pricing assumptions for expenses, lapses, mortality, interest, and sales mix.
Price and set profit expectations for term life, critical illness, disability insurance, and direct mail products.
Monitor industry trends and benchmarks to stay current with market competition.
Foster positive relationships by exchanging information and presenting ideas to internal and external clients.

What We're Looking For

Completion of the Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) designation.
At least 7 years of related, progressive experience in a similar role.
Proficiency with AXIS software and MS Office.
General management skills including planning, budgeting, scheduling, people management, and service delivery.
Investment knowledge.
