About the Role

What You'll Do

Guide and mentor a team of sales professionals across a designated region, ensuring each territory meets its performance goals. You'll be responsible for recruiting, training, and retaining high-performing field representatives, shaping a motivated and compliant sales force.

Develop and execute strategic business plans that align with regional objectives, translating financial and market insights into actionable steps for your team. Support the design and implementation of incentive programs and performance evaluations to maintain focus and accountability.

Ensure full adherence to company policies and regulatory standards across all sales activities. Champion a culture of integrity, overseeing promotional practices and enforcing compliance with industry regulations and internal guidelines.

Manage operational budgets and contribute to decisions around team structure, resource allocation, and expansion based on performance data and market potential. Serve as a key liaison to major accounts and stakeholders, representing the company at a senior level.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree and 9 to 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a focus on commercial roles in sales, market access, or marketing. At least four years must include direct sales management responsibility.

Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and leading customer-facing initiatives, including product launches. Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams is essential.

You must have a solid grasp of healthcare regulations affecting pharmaceutical promotion and distribution. Strong analytical skills are required to interpret sales and market data, inform strategy, and guide decision-making.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are necessary to influence internal teams and external partners. Clinical knowledge that supports credibility with medical professionals and healthcare organizations is highly valued.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $205,000 to $251,000. Additional components include an annual bonus target and eligibility for equity awards, subject to company and individual performance.

Work Mode

This role involves regular field travel—up to 60%—for customer meetings, team coaching, and industry events. The position supports a flexible work model with no fixed office location.
