Wisetack is looking for a Manager, Engineering to lead a group of software engineers, mentor their growth, and contribute directly to building high-quality products. This is a hands-on role where you’ll set direction, code, review designs, and solve technical challenges, working closely with product management, engineering peers, and business stakeholders.

What You'll Do

Lead and manage a high-performing product development team.
Mentor, coach, and develop engineers to reach their full potential.
Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to plan and prioritize engineering work.
Contribute hands-on in Java and on AWS to design, build, and deliver features.
Review code and technical designs to ensure quality, scalability, and security.
Partner with recruiting to identify, hire, and onboard top engineering talent.
Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and automation to increase efficiency and quality.
Ensure production stability through incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Grow and move the business forward.

What We're Looking For

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or another closely related field.
2+ years of experience hiring and managing direct reports.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Language: Java.
Cloud: AWS.
Architecture: REST.
Automation: Maven.
Infrastructure: Terraform.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) experience.
