Department of Natural Resources (DNR), State of Washington is hiring a Management Analyst

This position supports the ongoing improvement of administrative and operational systems within a state-level natural resources organization. The Management Analyst will conduct in-depth reviews of current procedures, collect and interpret performance data, and prepare reports that highlight opportunities for enhancement.

Responsibilities

  • Assess program operations to identify gaps, redundancies, or inefficiencies
  • Develop performance metrics and analyze data to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with program staff to understand workflow challenges and propose practical solutions
  • Prepare written recommendations, reports, and presentations for management review
  • Support the implementation of new processes and monitor outcomes over time

Qualifications

Candidates should have a strong background in organizational analysis, data interpretation, and project coordination.
