Modern Family Law is hiring a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. We are a rapidly expanding national firm committed to providing high-quality legal support. What You'll Do
- Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and regulations pertaining to Colorado family law matters.
- Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Manage client communications, including scheduling appointments, responding to inquiries, and maintaining confidential client files.
- Coordinate with court personnel, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in family law proceedings.
- Attend client meetings, court hearings, and mediation sessions as needed to support clients.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, timekeeping, and file management to support efficient firm operations.
- Stay informed about changes in Colorado family law legislation and procedural rules to ensure compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Licensed Legal Paraprofessional certification in Colorado is required.
- The capability to work from home with a reliable internet connection and a productive workstation during normal business hours.
- A commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
- Colorado Certified Paralegal designation or completion of an accredited paralegal program.
- Some experience with family law.
- Familiarity with legal case management software such as Clio or MyCase.
- Foreign language skills, such as Spanish, Japanese, Cantonese, or Tagalog.
Technical Stack
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
- High-level proficiency with Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, and Zoom conferencing technology.

- Salary range: $73,000 - $99,500.
