Pareto.AI is looking for a Legal Operations Associate to serve as the primary legal liaison for our AI training platform. You will track legal initiatives, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance in a fully remote, global context.
What You'll Do
- Track legal initiatives across multiple vendor relationships.
- Compile internal context and serve as primary legal liaison.
- Handle routine legal inquiries with AI operations context.
- Ensure process compliance and agreement accuracy.
- Route matters to appropriate vendors by jurisdiction and specialty.
- Flag critical provisions and risks in legal documents.
- Maintain vendor portals and coordinate cross-functional data needs.
- Provide weekly updates on AI/SaaS regulatory changes and misclassification trends.
- Conduct legal research dives on competitive landscape developments.
- Push SOC2 and ISO certification processes forward.
- Track share grants, board consents, and miscellaneous corporate matters.
- Coordinate IP protections, insurance renewals, and data privacy compliance.
What We're Looking For
- 2-3 years Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience.
- Skills in contract review, vendor management, project tracking systems, and legal research.
- High attention to detail, proactive communication, and autonomous execution.
- Capable of synthesizing complex regulatory changes into actionable insights.
Nice to Have
- Experience in tech/AI sector.
- Understanding of AI/data operations legal landscape.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote, global position. You'll collaborate with a distributed team focused on enabling top talent worldwide to participate in developing AI models.
