- Stay current in legal nurse consulting through continuous education and professional development.
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of medical, chiropractic, and pharmaceutical practices, treatments, and standards of care.
- Produce clear, concise, and grammatically sound written reports that are professional and easy to understand.
- Handle large or medically complex case files with accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop detailed chronologies, summaries, and thorough analyses of medical claims.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, file-sharing platforms, and email for creating high-quality reports and tables.
- Effectively review and interpret electronic and scanned medical records.
- Conduct medical research related to case-specific issues and standards of care or practice.
- Apply strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
- Analyze general liability cases and produce comprehensive written reports in various required formats.
- Broaden understanding of clinical practices across multiple medical disciplines.
- Gather and evaluate research data to support sound judgment and effective case analysis.
- Deliver final work products requiring minimal revisions—typically no more than 1 to 3 edits.
- Review and assess general liability cases ranging from straightforward to moderately complex.
- Carry out assigned responsibilities reliably and consistently meet all deadlines.
- Work independently with strong self-direction and effective time and task management.
