Deel is seeking a Legal Counsel for the Nordics to provide comprehensive legal support across the organization. You will ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while mitigating risk and advising on employment, commercial, and regulatory matters to support the company’s strategic objectives.
What You'll Do
- Draft and review commercial and employment agreements.
- Assist in providing accurate, relevant, and timely advice on legal topics, including labor laws and commercial matters.
- Assist with the review and negotiation of client and vendor agreements and support internal compliance efforts.
- Handle and assist with a variety of other legal issues and projects as they arise.
What We're Looking For
- MA law degree.
- 3-5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with at least 2 years in-house or advising corporate clients.
- Strong knowledge of Danish or Norwegian labor law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to balance legal risks with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- High ethical standards and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.
