Deel is hiring a Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across our Nordics operations. You will ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while mitigating risk, advising on employment topics, commercial agreements, and regulatory matters to support strategic objectives.
What You'll Do
- Draft and review commercial and employment agreements.
- Assist in providing accurate, relevant, and timely advice on legal topics such as labor laws and commercial matters.
- Review and negotiate client and vendor agreements, and support internal compliance efforts.
- Handle a variety of other legal issues and projects as they arise.
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
- 3-5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with at least 2 years in-house or advising corporate clients.
- Strong knowledge of Danish or Norwegian labor law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to balance legal risks with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- High ethical standards and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.
