LifeWise Academy is hiring a Leadership Board Member

LifeWise Academy is looking for a Leadership Board Member to assist with the final launch steps and ongoing operation of a local program. This volunteer, part-time position provides direction to the program director and manages key operational areas, requiring a one-year commitment.

What You'll Do

• Provide input and direction to the program director on day-to-day operations.
• Assist with the 5 L's of operations: Leadership (recruit and onboard staff/volunteers), Location (secure facility and transportation), Logistics (coordinate with the school), Loot (spearhead fundraising and manage finances), and Language (ensure excellent public communications).
• Be diligent in executing the T-Minus Plan prior to program launch.
• Actively participate in the fundraising process.
• Be faithful in attending scheduled meetings.
• Commit to a minimum of one year of service.
• Be consistent in prayer for the local program.

What We're Looking For

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Completion of board member role-specific training.
• A background check & child safety training completed once every 3 years.
• Willingness to provide contact information of a local church leader where you are an active participant.
• Exemplification of LifeWise Core Values: COMMITMENT (motivated by love for the Lord, fully supportive of the program's gospel-centered purposes) and COMPETENCE (have the know-how, skills, and relationships to get things done).

Team & Environment

The leadership board includes 3 to 9 members plus the program director. The board includes representation from at least three different churches and the entire Christian community (various ages, professions, genders, races). One member is responsible for each of the 5 L's, though individuals may cover more than one.

This is a local position serving a specific city or community.
