Lead the evolution of a purpose-driven beauty brand by defining its global marketing direction and ensuring consistent, compelling expression across all channels. As the Vice President of Brand Marketing, you will shape the long-term vision, positioning, and identity of a clean beauty leader, aligning strategy with consumer insights, cultural trends, and business objectives.
Strategic Leadership & Brand Development
Own the development and execution of the brand’s global strategy, refining architecture and messaging to stand apart in the prestige beauty market. Translate business goals into annual marketing plans and lead the creation of 360° campaigns for new product launches, hero franchises, and seasonal moments. Champion brand consistency while evolving visual language, tone, and core narratives to reflect changing consumer expectations.
Consumer-Centric Marketing Excellence
Build deep understanding of target audiences through research and data, using insights to inform creative direction and campaign innovation. Lead cross-channel strategies across social media, influencer engagement, PR, events, and partnerships—ensuring all touchpoints reinforce brand identity and drive engagement. Optimize media mix and marketing spend to balance brand-building with performance outcomes.
Collaboration & Organizational Impact
Partner with creative, digital, sales, and product teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned and effective. Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and growth. Establish clear processes, briefs, and performance metrics to maintain operational rigor and strategic clarity.
Performance & Investment Oversight
Manage a multi-million dollar marketing budget, making data-informed decisions on resource allocation and agency partnerships. Develop KPIs to track brand health, campaign effectiveness, and return on investment. Present strategic reviews to executive leadership and lead continuous improvement through post-campaign analysis and test-and-learn methodologies.
Qualifications & Experience
- 12+ years of brand marketing leadership in prestige beauty, luxury, or premium consumer brands
- Proven success in developing and leading integrated, global campaigns
- Strong strategic, analytical, and storytelling abilities
- Experience building and managing high-performing teams and large-scale budgets
- Bachelor’s degree required; experience in clean beauty, skincare, or color cosmetics preferred
- Familiarity with DTC, retail marketing, and international brand management is a plus
